It's time to make an update. Yes. From 20.11. - 27.11. were my host family, the California grandparents and an aunt in North Carolina. Waves, to be exact. So the name of the place.
The Ride, which was supposed to take up to six hours, moved to 8 hours as the children thought of having to go every few minutes to the toilet and on this occasion every time a new "Happy Meal" in the mother and Mc Donald's to order. Only one word: annoying!
When we finally arrived we moved into the beach house, which was larger than our traditional home. the rest of the day ... and actually the entire Week we spent with bum around the house, beach bum, playing Wii, watching DVD's and / or playing cards. Oh, I forgot the most important week activity: eating! We did always and at all times.
Thanksgiving, what was the real trip reason was cooked, boiled, cooked and eaten. Turkey. Which incidentally was prepared on the grill. 5 hours. We prepared additional "stuffing" of mashed potatoes and green beans. In addition, cranberry sauce was served. This was poured during dinner by the aunt with red wine. Except by mistake. So this was still the necessary kick. And thus was tasty.
Only hours after this meal, no one could move.
On Saturday we left at 10:30 of the house. The return trip went much like the outward journey. But this time due to congestion. Very pleasant. Not.
